Commentary on Clinton


So the first serious woman candidate for president officially threw her support behind the young, brash senator who came from nowhere to best her in the extraordinarily long Democratic primary.

According to a recent CBS News poll, 69 percent of the respondents said that they think they'll see a woman elected commander in chief in their lifetime. The same percentage also said Clinton's campaign made it easier for a woman to run for president in the future.
