Announcing 'Mad Men' Mondays

We just got back home a few days ago from a family vacation at the beach and are now (still!) getting caught up on all we missed . . . including the first two episodes of the second season of AMC's Mad Men (airs on Sunday nights at 10) which were sitting on my DVR.

Now that this show is starting to get its sea legs -- and over a million viewers -- I decided that it's worth discussing here each week, dissecting not just the exploits of the dashing New York City advertising executive Don Draper (Jon Hamm), but those of his wife Betty (January Jones) who lives in the 'burbs with his two kids (and is just starting to come into her own after acknowledging her husband's infidelities), their neighbors and the lone female copywriter at Don's ad agency, Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss).

So, starting next week, the Monday after each new Mad Men installment, I'll blog here about the latest episode. If you haven't watched the episode yet -- maybe you've recorded it but not yet watched it -- do not come to this web site because there will be spoilers here. (You've been warned.) I'd love to hear from fellow Mad Men fans, as well as critics, as we weigh in on the unfolding drama.
