The “Good Morning Live” anchorwoman — Karen Swensen — who interviewed me this morning couldn’t have been nicer when she talked with me about The Book, “A Suburban Mom: Notes from the Asylum.” “Our next guest may be the Erma Bombeck of our generation,” she said.
Such high praise. (*blushing*)
Too bad I couldn’t really enjoy her praise as I was preoccupied about the possibility of epic sweating under the bright lights and whether I would speak too quickly. (I failed on both counts, even though I purposely avoided caffeine this morning to reduce my motor-mouth tendencies.)
